"It's going to be a stressful but interesting summer with the FIBA windows and the friendly matches," the Lithuanian national team's head coach Kazys Maksvytis told in the Lithuanian Basketball Federation's press conference today.
"We've chosen strong opponents. The Latvians are planning to have their best roster, and the two matches against Spain speak for themselves," Maksvytis explained. "Our goal is to have the best players. I'm glad that most of them have expressed the intention to play for the national team. A lot of challenges are ahead of us, but I hope we'll have a fun and good summer."
After playing the two matches against Latvia, the Lithuanian NT will then play two games in the FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers against Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.
Lithuania will have some time to rest until the preparation for EuroBasket 2022 begins again:

Having to play both official and friendly matches does not scare the team's head coach Maksvytis.
"That might even be better. Although the matches are official, it's good preparation for the EuroBasket. It's a bit inconvenient having to host two camps, though," the coach noted.
Lithuania has already qualified for the Second Round of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. They will play in Group B against Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and France in the EuroBasket 2022.
