The Portland Trail Blazers want to find a strong partner for Damian Lillard next season and they're already scouting the market for alternatives.

Jerami Grant

According to Chris Kirschner of The Athletic, the Trail Blazers are a strong suitor for Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant, who might become one of the major targets for the offseason.

Grant has another year left on his contract with the Detroit Pistons and will make around $21 million next season. The former Philadelphia 76ers player was already rumored to be traded at the deadline in February but in the end, the Pistons decided to keep him with them.

This summer, though, the situation could be different with Grant entering the final year of his contract and not being particularly interested in re-signing a new deal with Detroit.

Per Kirschner, Damian Lillard and Jerami Grant share a strong bond and would love to play together in Portland.
