The head coach of the Turkish powerhouse, Ergin Ataman, talked to the media and gave the latest update regarding the injury situation in the squad.

"Rodrigue Beaubois and Krunoslav Simon won't play in the upcoming Turkish League playoff games. Our medical team is trying to prepare them for the Final Four. Vasilije Micic is mildly injured as well. They are not in the best shape, obviously. We will try to make them ready in the next 10 games. At least, to give us 10 or 15 minutes' contribution," Ataman said.

The 36-year-old Simon missed games 3 and 4 against AX Armani Exchange Milan in the EuroLeague quarterfinals. The Croatian veteran is averaging 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 7.7 PIR over 27 EuroLeague games this season.

The 34-year-old Beaubois skipped the last two games of the series as well. In games 1 and 2, he only appeared on the floor for 16 minutes and collected 3 points. The Frenchman is registering 9.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 8.5 PIR in 35 EuroLeague contests.

Vasilije Micic came back on the court in the Efes-Armani series, after suffering a muscle injury and missing a couple of weeks of basketball action. He won the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy for the 2021-22 season with 18.2 points per game.

Olympiacos Piraeus awaits Anadolu Efes in the EuroLeague semifinals.
