Real Madrid (25-9) were ahead during their entire game against Gran Canaria (17-17), cruising to an easy 91-83 (23-17, 26-22, 21-18, 21-26) victory in the ACB regular season finale.

Los Blancos finished in second place, behind leaders FC Barcelona, and will face seventh-placed Manresa in the first round of the playoffs, after their participation in the upcoming Belgrade Final Four.

On the other hand, Gran Canaria ended up eighth and will face FC Barcelona.

Guerschon Yabusele led Real Madrid with 13 points, while Anthony Randolph added 12. For Gran Canaria, Dylan Ennis did everything on the offensive end (24 points), but no one else followed.

The game was essentially decided in the third quarter, when Real Madrid secured a double-digit lead, despite Dylan Ennis' efforts. The Canadian guard scored 7 points over that span, but Pablo Laso's men went on a partial score of 2-13. With a four-point play by Anthony Randolph, the guests made it 57-70.

As the clash was reaching the end and only 24 seconds remaining, Khalifa Diop took down Jeffery Taylor. The Swede felt dizzy, but soon stood up, to Laso's relief.

Gran Canaria: Dylan Ennis 24 (9/16 FG, 6/7 FT, 5 REB), Artem Pustovyi 12, AJ Slaughter 11, Khalifa Diop 10, John Shurna 10.

Real Madrid: Guerschon Yabusele 13 (4/6 FG, 4/4 FT, 4 REB, 3 TO), Anthony Randolph 12, Nigel Williams-Goss 11, Sergio Llull 11 (5 AST), Walter Tavares 10 (8 REB).
