The Suns finished the season on a disappointing note after dominating for the most of the regular season. For the second straight year, Chris Paul's campaign came to an end with his team failing to protect a 2-0 series lead.
Paul had a terrible Game 7, registering only 10 points and four assists in 31 minutes of play being a minus-39 for the time he was on the court. Suns star guard talked about whether this was his best shot at a title.
"They said that last year. They probably said it back in '08. You play long enough and you don’t win, every time you lose, they’re going to say it was your best chance", Paul told reporters.
"But I think for me, us, it’s we'll be right back next year. I'll tell you that much," he continued. "I’m not retiring tomorrow, thank God. Hopefully, I’m healthy coming back. But I'm [going to] keep playing."
