The hosts edged out the EuroLeague squad, 88-80 (24-29, 19-15, 16-10, 17-22, 12-4), after an overtime thriller, tying the series 1-1. The decisive Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday (May 18) in Belgrade.

Despite being down by 12 points (7-19) in the first quarter, Cedevita responded and took an upper hand before halftime (43-41).

EuroCup's team controlled the game in the second half leading the way with a small margin. Cedevita had plus 9 (71-62) with 3:10 to go in the match, after a 7-0 spurt, but Crvena Zvezda did not raise the white flag.

Ivanovic, Hollins, and Dobric cut the deficit to minimal (70-71), while Zach Auguste let Cedevita's fans breathe easier (74-71) with one minute to play. Zvezda were pouring shots off the mark, as Edo Muric converted two shots from the line on the other end (76-73). 3 seconds were left for Red Star's response.

Nikola Ivanovic missed the three-pointer but Luka Mitrovic grabbed an offensive rebound and converted 2+1 play, leveling the match at 76. Both clubs went into overtime.

Powered by Jaka Blazic and Edo Muric's buckets, Cedevita outplayed their opponents and seized a W in additional 5 minutes.

Muric led the winners with 21 points (2/2 2PT, 4/6 3PT, 5/5 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 block, and 27 PIR.
