Barcelona president Joan Laporta in an interview with L'Esportiu de Catalunya talked about the Final Four and the potential budget reduction imposed by the current financial situation of the club.

Laporta expressed his disappointment in the way Barcelona lost the semifinal against Real Madrid in Belgrade.

"Reaching the Final Four is always a good thing", Laporta stated. "But it's not acceptable to lose as we lost the game against Real Madrid in Belgrade. We have to thank Mirotic for what he brings to the team, he played a great game but unfortunately we couldn't win".

"Obviously, we were disappointed", Laporta continued in the interview. "Because the situation didn't turn the way we wanted. We reached the Final Four, we won the third-place final against Olympiacos and now we'll see how it goes in the ACB playoffs".

"I want to see how the season ends before making any decision", Laporta said about the potential budget reduction. "We have to be focused on the league now and then we'll evaluate everything".
