After suffering an historic elimination at the hands of Lietkabelis which deprived them of the chance to defend their Betsafe-LKL title, Zalgiris Kaunas bounced back with an easy 92-75 (28-18, 29-21, 14-19, 21-17) win over Siauliai at the Zalgirio Arena in Game 1 of the best-of-five series deciding the third place.

Game 2 will be held next Friday (16:00 CET) in Siauliai and Game 3 on Monday (May 30) in Kaunas again.
