The head coach of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Ergin Ataman, believes that one of the team's cornerstones Vasilije Micic will remain in the squad for another run.

"He has an NBA option by July 20. He might think if he gets an offer. I think he likes to play in Europe and I think he will continue with us," Ataman told TRT Spor.

Efes defended their champion's title, becoming the third EuroLeague team to win the back-to-back titles.

Vasilije Micic repeated as a Final Four MVP, leading the team to another championship with 23 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 turnovers, and 22 PIR in the grand final. He also sank the game-winning buzzer-beater against Olympiacos in the semifinals.

"I'm in a situation where I have two more years of the contract no matter what happens. But of course, I like to look at all kinds of challenges. If this option comes out, I would be ready to risk," Micic confirmed BasketNews.
