"It was amazing, the best feeling ever. I hope fans could take some notes," Hardaway Jr. told the media in the exit press conference. "That's how you get yourself involved in the game."
"Every time we were standing, we had our crowd standing behind us for the majority of the game," he continued. "They showed that they were into it as well.'
"You want to know what's funny about this? They didn't say anything when we were losing," Pinson added. "When we lost, you never heard anybody complaining. When we started winning, they were like 'oh, they're up too much, they're getting on our nerves'."
"I would be mad if I got beat by 40," the Mavericks forward concluded.
There was a funny episode during the NBA Western Conference Finals series against the Warriors when Stephen Curry passed the ball to a sitting Mavericks player.
"Game 3 was intentional, everything else was not intentional," Pinson explained. "When I found out, I called Tim and said 'I hope you have a white shirt tonight'. They were wearing white, we were wearing white. That was the only game when we planned it. Come on, when did this become a thing?"
