Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul gave hosts Darussafaka a dose of their own medicine by beating the 2018 EuroCup winners 73-69 (20-14, 20-21, 18-13, 21-15) on the road and taking a 2-1 lead in the Turkish League semifinal series.

Fenerbahce were leading since the beginning, but a lackluster third quarter almost cost them the game.
Wayne McCullough scored 4 straight points to put the hosts within reach (68-69). Jan Vesely replied with a couple of free-throws, before Isaiah Pineiro hit 1/2.
That was a real difference-maker, since Dacka fouled again, this time on Marko Guduric. The Serbian guard-forward sank both of his attempts and the 2017 EuroLeague champs escaped with an important win that can propel them to the finals.
Fenerbahce had three players in double digits - Guduric with 12, Birsen and De Colo with 10 apiece. Darussafaka had more options, but Olaseni's 15 points and Ozdemiroglu's multi-faceted contribution didn't amount to anything.
The hosts shot bad from the perimeter (6/27) and weren't able to respond in the final stretch.
Darussafaka: Gabriel Olaseni 15 (5/10 FG, 5/6 FT), Troy Caupain 12 (4/13 FG, 5 REB, 6 AST), Wayne McCullough 11, Dogus Ozdemiroglu 10 (10 REB, 8 AST), Isaiah Pineiro 10.
Fenerbahce: Marko Guduric 12 (6/6 FT, 4 AST), Metecan Birsen 10, Nando De Colo 10 (5 REB, 5 AST, 3 TO), Melih Mahmutoglu 9, Jan Vesely 8.
