ALBA Berlin keep rolling, winning their second straight contest at the German BBL semifinals series by defeating the visiting MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg 100-76 (25-17, 24-18, 24-24, 27-17), taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

The third match of the semis will take place on June 3, 19:00 CET, where ALBA will try to finish the series.

Louis Olinde led ALBA with 24 points (3/3 2PT, 5/6 3PT, 3/3 FT), 5 rebounds, and 28 PIR.

On the opposing side, Jonah Radebaugh was the high-scorer for Ludwigsburg, ending with 18 points (4/10 2PT, 2/5 3 PT, 4/4 FT), 8 rebounds, and 17 PIR.

It was a close game, the biggest part of the first quarter, but then ALBA fired up at the end of the first quarter. Led by Johannes Thiemann and Oscar da Silva, the EuroLeague side spurted 16-2 and created a comfortable double-digit advantage (35-19) in the second tally.

Alba started the second half on a high note and built a massive 24-points lead (68-44).

However, Ludwigsburg did not raise the white flag and reduced the deficit to 14 points (59-73) after the third.

Alba responded in the fourth quarter, Louis Olinde scored 8 points in a row, and the visitors recaptured a 22-point lead (85-63) with 4:45 to go.

The remaining time was just a formality, as the EuroLeague side came away with a 24-points victory.
