In Game 1 of the French league semifinals, ASVEL dominated against Dijon thanks to an amazing performance in the first half that helped coach Parker's side to build a very comfortable lead. ASVEL won with the final score of 81-68 (29-12, 25-10, 15-24, 12-22) and began the series in the best way possible.

In the second half, Dijon were able to reduce the deficit a bit but the game was already on ASVEL's way after the domination of the first half. David Holston and Gavin Ware provided some help offensively but despite a good showing, Dijon had no real chance to get back into the game and ASVEL won Game 1.

ASVEL completely dominated the first half, finishing it with an astonishing 32-point lead (54-22). Dijon looked completely lost, shooting less than 20% both from two points and from downtown. ASVEL had already three players in double-digit at the end of the first half with Chris Jones (11), William Howard (10), and Elie Okobo (10).

ASVEL: Elie Okobo 15 (5 AST), William Howard 14 (5 REB), Chris Jones 13

JDA Dijon: David Holston 17, Rashard Kelly 12 (6 REB), Gavin Ware 11 (7 REB)
