In Game 3 of the ABA Liga finals, Partizan Belgrade remained alive and won 70-67 (21-17, 18-14, 8-23, 23-13) against Crvena Zvezda and extended the series to Game 4. The game was temporarily suspended with less than a minute remaining when one of the referees was hit by an object thrown from the stands.

Partizan began the final quarter in a better way and led by Aleksa Avramovic tied the game (59-59). With the game on the line, Kevin Punter made a clutch three-pointer with less than a minute remaining left to give Partizan a three-point lead (68-65). Zvezda reacted in a strong way in the third quarter. Coach Radonjic's side defense took over during the period and limited Partizan to only 8 points, while Dobric and Davidovac continued to be the main offensive weapons for Crvena Zvezda, with Dobric entering the final period with already 18 points. Zvezda led by 7 points at the end of the third quarter (54-47).
