In Game 3 of the ABA Liga finals, Partizan Belgrade remained alive and won 70-67 (21-17, 18-14, 8-23, 23-13) against Crvena Zvezda and extended the series to Game 4. The game was temporarily suspended with less than a minute remaining when one of the referees was hit by an object thrown from the stands.

When the game resumed, Partizan were able to maintain their lead and take the win home.

Partizan began the final quarter in a better way and led by Aleksa Avramovic tied the game (59-59). With the game on the line, Kevin Punter made a clutch three-pointer with less than a minute remaining left to give Partizan a three-point lead (68-65). But immediately after one of the referees got hit by an object thrown from the stands and the game was temporarily suspended.

Zvezda reacted in a strong way in the third quarter. Coach Radonjic's side defense took over during the period and limited Partizan to only 8 points, while Dobric and Davidovac continued to be the main offensive weapons for Crvena Zvezda, with Dobric entering the final period with already 18 points. Zvezda led by 7 points at the end of the third quarter (54-47).

In the first half, Partizan Belgrade showed some good aggression. Kevin Punter looked absolutely on point from the get going and finished the first half with 11 points and 5 assists. Coach Obradovic's side shot the ball well from deep (55%), while Zvezda shot only 28% from downtown. Partizan finished the first half up by eight points (39-31).
