"Due to insufficient organization of the Finals Round 3 game against Crvena zvezda mts, the ABA League Disciplinary Judge Hrvoje Vidan made a decision to sanction Partizan NIS," the ABA League announcement reads.

Thus, Partizan NIS are sanctioned by:

Closing part of the stands for the next home game in the AdmiralBet ABA League including: first 10 rows of the “A” stands, first 13 rows of the “Bela loža” stands, first 10 rows of the “B” the entire “Parter B” stands, the entire “Plava loža” stands and first 12 rows of the “VIP” stands.

This is the temporary measure, made with a goal to prevent further incidents and related sanctions in the remainder of the competition. It comes to force immediately and will later become a part of the final decision on the sanctions by the Disciplinary Judge on Partizan NIS on this matter.

Per Mozzart Sport, the delegate of Game 3 presented a report detailing all the elements incriminating the home fans, including verbal and physical assaults, with repeated violations of throwing various hard objects on the court.

The game was interrupted 57 seconds before the end, and the break lasted about 40 minutes. The three referees left the arena after more objects fell on the court. Referee Uros Nikolic was wounded in the leg, as a result of which it was soon ordered to vacate some rows behind Red Star's bench. The match continued and ended only after all the conditions were met.

Crvena Zvezda, last year's champions, lead by 2-1 in the final series. The fourth meeting is held on Friday with Partizan being the host team.
