Elie Okobo was the most efficient player for ASVEL, finishing with 26 points (6/8 2PT, 3/7 3PT, 5/6 FT), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 27 PIR.

ASVEL started the game off strong, with Kostas Antetokounmpo and James Gist‘s buckets earning the team an early double-digit lead (26-16) after the first quarter.

The biggest part of the second quarter went back and forth, neither team gaining a commanding lead, as ASVEL managed to maintain the lead, which they built in the first quarter (52-40).

The situation changed in the second half. In the third period, Dijon reacted and after being down by 13 points (40-53), they made a 11-0 run to cut the deficit to just two points (53-51), behind the performances of David Holston and Rashard Kelly.

That was not the end, as Kelly and Holston drained a couple of triples more and Dijon retook the lead (75-72) going into the fourth quarter.

The real drama began in the last quarter. Chris Jones made a 3-pointer and brought back the lead to the EuroLeague side (84-83) with 5:21 left.

Jones didn‘t slow down, scored 8 more points in a row that let ASVEL to breathe a little bit easier (91-85) with 4:06 to go.

After few successful defensive stops, Marcos Knight took leadership from Jones, made 7 consecutive points and the lead grew to double-digits again (98-87) with 1:18 remaining. The hosts maintained their lead and finished the game victoriously.
