"How many memories and how many years… I have wanted to come back to say some things for many months, but mainly I wanted to say thank you to everyone.

Thanks to Real Madrid for giving me the opportunity to live my dream.A decade here, I couldn't have imagined anything better than this.Many thanks to the club, to the president.I was lucky enough to be here with some good friends and colleagues for 10 years.

Thanks to Pablo Laso for making plays so that I could go out to shoot 3. Thanks to the greats for the blocks they put on me all these years and the best point guards in the world who passed the ball to me to shoot.

Carroll, who is 39 now, retired after losing the Spanish ACB finals to FC Barcelona last year.

Caroll has spent 10 seasons with Real Madrid and played 709 games with Real jersey, which is the most games on the team ever as a non-Spanish player. The only two players that suited up more times for Real Madrid are Spanish legendsFelipe ReyesandSergio Llull.
