"I'm 77 years old, and right now, I can do more pushups than you can right now," Riley said.
It remains unclear how many pushups Riley can do, but no one can deny that the Heat are producing solid results in the few last seasons.
Miami clinched the first seed in the regular season, but they were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Boston Celtics, losing the series 3-4.
"I definitely feel an obligation to finish this build,"Riley told reporters. "And so if we're three years into this build, I don't want to do another three years of just building this team. I think we're in that window of internal improvement."
Riley also commented on Tyler Herro's wishes to become a regular starter.
"As far as being a starter, come to training camp and win it," Riley noted.
