The Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges could be in trouble after sharing how he spends time during the offseason.

Bridges posted a picture on Instagram stories where he's drinking a purple-colored beverage, which allegedly was lean. Moreover, in the other hand, Bridges was holding a joint.

Lean is a concoction of cough syrup, soda, hard candy, and, in some cases, alcohol. The most commonly used ingredients are prescription cough syrup that contains the opioid codeine and the antihistamine promethazine.

NBA doesn't conduct drug testing for marijuana anymore, but codeine is among prohibited substances. However, codeine is listed under the drugs of abuse category, and a player could be facing a 2-year ban for using it.

So far, there were no official statements neither from the NBA nor the Hornets. Bridges made a tweet, saying 'pink lemonade', but he deleted it shortly after.

This season Bridges averaged 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists (all career-high) per game.
