This past season Wallace worked at the University of Memphis as an assistant coach to Penny Hardaway. Wallace already worked as an assistant in the league in the 2013-14 season for the Pistons.In his 16-year NBA career, Wallace played for 6 different teams, but most of his years were with the Portland Trail Blazers (1996-2004) and the Pistons (2004-2009).Ham, for whom it is the first head coaching gig in the NBA, has replaced Frank Vogel, who worked with the Lakers for the past 3 seasons.
