All of the matches in this series were won by the team, which played on the road.

Bayern will meet the current Basketball Bundesliga champions ALBA Berlin in the finals for the second straight year.

"Oh wow, I don't know!" coach Andrea Trinchieri responded when asked what we can expect from Bayern in the finals. "We play in 48 hours. So, we have to pack our stuff quickly and go to Berlin. We complicated our lives, therefore we have to deal with the short preparation now.

We complicated our life, but there was also a great opponent, so congrats for the season of Bonn to the coaches and the players. They played really an unbelievable season. We had to take out the best game possible, being very mature, putting the ball where we wanted and I believe we deserve that win."

As stated by the 53-year-old specialist, his calmness in decisive Game 5 came due to the high focus level of the players.

"I didn't want to take away positive energy. I saw my team was ready and very focused. We had bitter feelings after Game 4 and we wanted to focus on what is coming next. I didn't need to do any show today. Simply, my team was ready and this is the game of the players. Decisive games are games of players," the Italian mastermind commented.

For his part, Nihad Djedovic spoke about the underdog status of Bayern Munich.

"We didn't say a lot [after Game 4]. We are all professionals and know how we should react in Game 5. Also, saying that we were underdogs in this semis' series seems to be ludicrous, but it is like that. We have a lot of injured players.

It was a series, where the fans saw great basketball and enjoyed it. 5 games and every duel was close until the end. Tonight we won, but this one could also go in the other direction," the Bosnian player told.
