After being asked about a strong Warriors third quarter, Tatum said everything is about how you respond.

"Just staying with it, we obviously know that's a great team, they gonna go on a run. It's how you respond," Tatum said.

"We know we have to be playing well in the third quarters. So that was the point of emphasis, starting the third quarter well, a lot more pace, and just responding to their runs," Tatum added.

"If they hit tough shots, don't put your heads down and just keep going," Tatum emphasized the importance of not giving up.

When asked about Robert Williams's impactin this game, Tatum pointed out his presence at the rim.

"Man, just his presence at the rim on both ends, he's one of the best shot contesters in the league, and you have to respect him at the rim a lot," said Tatum. "He also puts so much pressure on the defense by just being out there."

Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Jaylen Brown became the first trio to go 20 and 5 in a finals game since 1984, when Kareem, Magic, and Michael Cooper did. When asked about what he thinks of this company, Tatum was happy with it but wanted to stay focused for the next game.

"I was born in 1998, so that is way before my time, but that's a great company to be in," Tatum said.

"You know, gotta watch film and build off of this, don't get too happy and get ready for the next one, because they will come out extra aggressive and more prepared," Tatum concluded.

Tatum finished the game with 26 points (6/14 2PT, 3/9 3PT, 5/6 FT), 9 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Game 4 will take place in the TD Garden on Saturday at 03:00 CEST.
