However, this defeat could be even more costly because of Stephen Curry's injury. With 4:07 to go in the fourth quarter, Curry was in serious pain after Al Horford fell on his leg.

As stated by the GSW superstar post-game, Curry thinks he'll be alright and that he doesn't expect to miss any time: "I'll be all right. Got caught underneath Al."

Curry led the Warriors with 31 points (6/11 2PT, 6/11 3PT, 1/1 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 3 turnovers.

The 34-year-old guard also spoke the setback feels similar to the foot sprain he suffered earlier this year against the Celtics.

Curry was injured against Boston on March 16 while diving for a loose ball and colliding with Marcus Smart.

The injury occurred with just over four minutes remaining in the second quarter when Boston's guard landed on the back of Curry's leg while diving for possession of the ball.

The two-time NBA MVP and eight-time All-Star had his foot twist awkwardly in the incident, and shortly thereafter had to be removed from the game. He headed straight to the locker room, walking under his own power.

Curry missed the final 12 regular-season games due to a left foot sprain.
