The Golden State Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green wasn't happy with his and his team's performance in a loss against the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. However, this disappointment did not shake Green's confidence, who still believes in his team's comeback from a 2-1 deficit in the series.

Green ran into New Orleans Pelicans star CJ McCollum in the halls of TD Garden after Game 3, who was attending as a part of ESPN's broadcast team. McCollum felt confident in his new role as a media member and told Green that he picked the Celtics to be the NBA Champions this year.

"I've got to tell you this. I picked Boston to win Game 3, I picked you guys to win Game 4. But ultimately, I've got the Celtics winning the Finals," McCollum told Green face to face. "I just want you to hear it from me first before you hear me say it on TV."

Green quickly responded: "That's fine. Those Celtics will still be ringless, just like you. Respect."

Then Green just walked off with a smile on his face.

"Damn, that was a good ass comeback," McCollum said to himself as he watched Green mosey on. "But, hey, he heard it from me."

Green later told Yahoo Sports that he appreciated McCollum's comments.

"With CJ last night, I appreciate it because that's something people in this day and age don't do," said Green.

"I'm always going to have something to say back. It just naturally comes out like that," added Green.

Green finished with 2 points on 1-of-4 shooting, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block in 35 minutes before fouling out late in the game.

Green thought he had one of the worst games of his career in Game 3.

"May have been one of the worst games of my career," said Green after the game.

Game 4 will take place on Saturday at 03:00 CEST at TD Garden in Boston.
