Prior to this year‘s NBA draft, talented Serbian forward Nikola Jovic had a workout with the Denver Nuggets and left a great impression. The pearl of Mega Mozzart shined in these practices and does not hide high ambitions.

A young prospect is projected to be picked in the first round and with Denver picking at 21 which would make him take the same step as his more experienced compatriot, who also grew up in the same club.

An additional reason for everyone in the Nuggets to pay attention to the guy born in 2003 is his name.It is so similar to that of back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic that all you have to do is replace the K with a V and you have talented playmaker, Nikola Jovic.

Nikola Jovic talked to the reporters at the Bol Arena where he briefly summed up his impressions in Denver.

"I showed a little bit of everything. Shot, pass, defense, play at low post. I am ready to be the player the coach wants. If he wants me to be a spot-up shooter, I will be, if his vision is to play in transition, I‘ll do it. If he wants me to defend all five positions, I will try that as well.

My dream has come true. All this, especially training with the Nuggets jersey. People in Serbia love basketball. Jokic is a two-time MVP and all the kids now want to play basketball," he commented.

Jovic's video from the training session removed even the smallest doubts, if they existed before the NBA draft, scheduled for June 23.His workout videos went viral and made the wider basketball public take an interest in a Serb who is ready for new challenges.

"The game in Europe is really different from the one here. I know it will be difficult, but if you love the game, if you have a passion for it, everything will be fine," he pointed out.

At the end of his interview, young prospect expressed his wish to meet his idol in the nearest future.

I have never met Jokic, but that is one of my wishes. I hope to meet him soon," Jovic concluded.
