Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum reacted to this situation after the game and stated that the fight for the ring is not over and insisted that his team can still defeat the Golden State Warriors.

"We don't have to win two games in one day. We just have to win one game on Thursday to force Game 7. We've been in this situation before. So this is not over. We have to win on Thursday. That‘s all we have to worry about right now," he told the media.

Tatum led the Celtics with 27 points and 10 rebounds. The forward lamented the bad start of his team and emphasized how well they played in the third quarter, which have won by 11 points (35-24).

"We need to start the game better, not to dig ourselves a hole from the beginning. We played extremely well in the third quarter and have to try to sustain that level of play.

We have to do it more often than not throughout the course of the game to give ourselves a chance to win a game," he concluded.

The crucial Game 6 of the NBA Finals series is scheduled for Thursday night in Boston.
