Latvian Basketball Federation announced a 15-man roster, which also includes Rodions Kurucs, Arturs Kurucs, Arturs Strautins, and others.

In the upcoming FIBA window, Latvia will face Serbia at home (June 30) and Slovakia away (July 3).

NBA player Davis Bertans should be a big boost to the Latvian team in the upcoming games. Last season, Bertans spent with the Washington Wizards and the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.

Serbia (3-1) sits at the top of Group A. Together with Latvia (3-1), both squads have already qualified for the next group stage of the qualifiers.

In the third place is Belgium (2-2). Slovakia (0-4), which still has theoretical chances to advance, is in 4th place in the group.
