Warriors' superstar Curry has talked about his confidence, how he reacts to bad shooting nights, and the dynamics of the Final series with NBA TV ahead of Game 6.
When asked about how he is going to respond after such a Game 5 performance, Curry was confident.
"I usually like how I respond. It never kills my confidence. It never shakes my preparation. It almost lights a fire, because you know that the work you put in will pay out," said Curry.
Curry also said he will keep shooting and was excited about the chance to be the champion again.
"Obviously, I'm not shy to keep shooting," Curry spoke. "I am excited that if we can put on another great game, then we can do what we are capable of doing, which means we can be champs."
When asked about the great Celtics defense and how it affects him, Curry told that he was not surprised by anything and pointed out that the Warriors' defense, which is led by Draymond Green.
"I mean, going into the series we knew how great their defense was," Curry responded.
"Our defense was ranked number 1 for a while. We have an identity out there on the floor," said Curry.
"Draymond leads the charge, he's the quarterback of the defense," Curry pointed out the importance of Green for their defense.
The star guard also mentioned the importance of starting the games well, as they had some slow starts in the series.
"Where we struggle in these series, we get into slow starts. They don't feel us at all."
"If we can set the tone there, usually you can settle into the game pretty quick. It gives us a great shot to find our way, especially early in the games," Curry concluded.
Curry and the Warriors are leading the series vs the Celtics 3-2 but will play the next game away at TD Garden in Boston on Friday at 3 am CET.
