Amath M'Baye signs a two-year deal with Anadolu Efes / News - Basketnews.com

Anadolu Efes Istanbul have agreed to a two-year deal with Amath M’Baye, Turkish journalist Ugur Ozan Sulak reports.

The French forward has signed a 1+1 contract with the EuroLeague champs.

He played the last three seasons with Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkey.

The 32-year-old Frenchman started his professional career in Japan with the Mitsubishi Diamond Dolphins, where he played for three seasons, from 2013 to 2016. He averaged 20.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists throughout his stint.

In 2016, M'Baye signed a contract with the Italian club Brindisi, in 2017 he moved to Milan, and in 2018 to Bologna with Virtus, with whom he won the 2019 FIBA Champions League in Antwerp.

After spending three years in Italy, the French international signed with Karsiyaka. M'Baye is coming off his career-best season in terms of numbers. In 26 games in the Turkish BSL, he averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per contest.
