After an amazing NBA Finals series against the Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry received his first-ever Finals MVP award.

During theLarry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy presentation, Curry talked about how special it was to win another title and a completely different perspective from how people talked about the Warriors.

"It means we won, it means we took advantage of an opportunity to come back here," Curry began his statement. "We heard all the chatter. At the end of the day, it's about what we are doing on the floor."

The Warriors finished the 2019-20 season with a record of 15-50, ending up at the bottom of the standings.

When asked at what time he started to believe that the Warriors could come back, Curry admitted that there were some doubts.

"We always had a doubt. You know how long the road is to come back. It is very hard to win on this level. Boston is a great team, but we found a way to get it done. Everybody on this stage has a part in this.

Starting from the front office, coaches, and players. At the beginning of the year, we weren't even on the radar. Now we're here with these two trophies. It means a lot," said Curry.

Finally, just like the team's owner Joe Lacob and head coach Steve Kerr said, Curry also admitted that this title is way different than the previous ones.

"This one is a combination of our championship pedigree and experience with some fresh energy, some guys who are really hungry to take the next step. We built this for 10-11 years. It means a lot because you know how to win, and everybody who is part of this knows what it's about. This one is different for sure," Curry concluded.
