LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne has blown out AS Monaco in the French League finals Game 2 at home 91-54 (28-12, 22-11, 22-14, 19-17) and tied the best-of-five series 1-1.

Game 3 of the LNB Pro A finals is scheduled for Monday (June 20) at 20:30 CEST in Monaco.

The first half was the decisive one in this game as ASVEL had a 27-point lead at the half (50-23).

ASVEL started the game strongly and took an early 9-point lead (16-7) with 4:15 to go in the first quarter after Marcos Knight's dunk.

Monaco couldn't find any answers to ASVEL rest of the game. By the end of the first quarter, ASVEL's lead had reached 16 points (28-12).

In the second quarter, the difference only grew. After William Howard's dunk with 1:44 left in the quarter, ASVEL's lead became 27-points (47-20).

The home team never took the foot off the gas pedal and continued strongly in the third quarter and fourth quarters, only increasing the lead.

The balanced ASVEL team was led by Elie Okobo, who ended the game with 10 points (2/5 2PT, 1/4 3PT, 5/5 FT), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 18 PIR in 20 minutes.
