Following the departure of Sasa Djordjevic, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul officially announced that the club signed a three-year contract with head coach Dimitris Itoudis.

After losing the decisive Game 7 of the VTB League Finals against Zenit Saint Petersburg, coach Itoudis announced that he and CSKA Moscow go separate ways.

The Greek specialist spent eight years in Moscow, winning two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and six VTB League titles.

Moreover, he received two EuroLeague Coach of the Year awards in 2016 and 2019 finishing on top of the competition.

Itoudis has also been named as the new head coach of the Greek national team and will cover a double role next season.

For the 51-year-old mastermind, it will be the second time in his career that Itoudis is navigating the Turkish team. In the 2013-14 season, he worked at Banvit.
