The Atlanta Hawks free-agent guard Lou Williams intends to continue his playing career, his agent Wallace Prather told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

"[Williams] is not pursuing retirement, and I'll be proactive in talking to teams during free agency," Prather said.

The 35-year-old Williams is a 17-season NBA veteran, who registered 6.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists over 14.3 minutes a game in 56 contests this past campaign.

A three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year, Williams has averaged 13.9 points and 3.4 assists in 1,123 career games (122 starts) with the Philadelphia 76ers (2005-12), Hawks (2012-14, 2021-present), Toronto Raptors (2014-15), Los Angeles Lakers (2015-17), Houston Rockets (2017) and Clippers (2017-21).
