A 27-year-old center Tonye Jekiri is expected to join Fenerbahce Istanbul, sources tell BasketNews.

According to sources, both sides are finalizing a two-year deal.

Jekiri played for UNICS Kazan last season.

2.11 m Nigerian big man averaged 7.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1 assist, one steal, and 12.2 PIR in the EuroLeague.

Jekiri had the second-highest NET rating (+/-) in his team, per BBallytics.

A powerful frontline player was fourth in total rebounds and second in offensive rebounds (2.9 ORB).
