Following the addition of Brandon Davies, AX Armani Exchange Milan officially announced a two-year deal with Stefano Tonut.

"It's a dream come true for me to play for a top-level team, both in Italy and Europe. In Milan, I'll join a group of people, coaches, and players that I'm familiar with. I want to thank Olimpia Milano's ownership, coach Messina, and Christos Stavropoulos for the great opportunity they are giving to me," Tonut said.

The 28-year-old guard averaged 9.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 10.2 PIR in 17 EuroCup duels this past season for Umana Reyer Venice.

Tonut has been a member of the latter squad since 2015. He is a two-time Italian League champion (2017, 2019).

Stefano Tonut was also an important piece for the Italian national team in Tokyo Olympics. Over 4 contests (26.6 minutes), he averaged 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 9.8 PIR. Italy was eliminated in the quarterfinals stage by France.
