Maccabi Tel Aviv are finalizing an agreement with one of the top point guards in the EuroLeague market Lorenzo Brown, sources say BasketNews.

Per BasketNews sources, a 31-year-old American will join Maccabi for two seasons.

Last EuroLeague season, Brown averaged 13.8 points (2FG: 57.2%, 3FG: 32.2%), 3.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.5 steals for UNICS Kazan.

Tall 1.98 m floor general was second in assists and left only behind Nick Calathes in the entire competition.

Brown was also fourth in steals, 9th in PIR, and 12th in scoring.

Lorenzo Brown had a third-best NET rating on his team.

Maccabi are on a massive rebuild for the 2022-23 season.

The Israeli powerhouse officially announced the departures of two key players Scottie Wilbekin and Ante Zizic.

They've also already officially signed Alex Poythress, Bonzie Colson, Darrun Hilliard, and Guy Pnini.

Per BasketNews sources, Austin Hollins is also finalizing a 1+1 contract.
