According to Omri Manhime from Israeli sports channel Sport5, Josh Nebo is close to signing with Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv.

Previously it was rumored that the American center would join EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul, but that did not come to fruition.

Nebo, last season played for Zalgiris Kaunas. It was his first season in the EuroLeague, where the athletic big-man averaged 8.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks per game.

It would be Nebo's return to Israel. He started his professional career with Hapoel Eilat where he spent one season before joining Zalgiris.
