Sam Van Rossom and Valencia Basket have reached an agreement to continue their partnership for one more season (until June 30, 2023), via the official club's report.

The 36-year-old Belgian was on an expiring deal with the oranges. He has represented the Spanish powerhouse since 2013.

The veteran playmaker will become the fourth player in the club history to compete for at least ten seasons at Valencia, along with Victor Luengo, Rafa Martinez, and Bojan Dubljevic.

Van Rossom has been an essential part of the three titles he has lifted as a member of Valencia Basket: the 2017 ACB league trophy and the 2014 and 2019 EuroCup titles.

He ranks fourth in official games played with a Valencia jersey (435).

Sam Van Rossom averaged 8.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 11.2 PIR over 14 EuroCup contests last season. His Valencia Basket will participate in the EuroLeague next campaign.
