Shaquille O'Neal and Rudy Gobert have been beefing during the recent months and the last iteration of the confrontation has come in the last several days.

Now, Shaquille O'Neal has joined the conversation about current players' salaries.

"Let me tell you something. Do you think I'm happy Rudy Gobert is making 205 (million)?" O'Neal said during The Big Podcast. "So KD, you're absolutely right. We're mad because the way we played, we didn't get that. You got these shooters shooting 22% making 30 million."

"D[ennis] Scott shot damn near 45 to 50% his whole career, and the most he made was probably $7 million, so you damn right we get mad. We get petty, and guess what? We have an opinion, and our opinion counts," Shaq emotionally told during the podcast with his guest Dennis Scott.

Kevin Durant didn't seem phased by Shaq's antics.

"Shaquille is hilarious. You're a billionaire bro," the star forward wrote.

Besides Shaq, the co-presenter in the Inside the NBA show, Charles Barkley, has joined in the talk about current generation players being overpaid. Most notably, Chuck has recently criticized Kevin Durant for not getting a championship while being the main star of the team.

"All this sh*t is nasty, another terrible analogy from a hating old head that can't accept that we are making more bread than them. It's just timing Chucky, don't hate the playa," Durant wrote on Twitter in response.

O'Neal has previously roasted Durant for not being able to win anything significant since leaving the Golden State Warriors in 2019. Recently, Shaq sent a message to Orlando Magic owners in pursuit of buying the club.
