Real Madrid and Thomas Heurtel's partnership has come to an end officially. The Spanish club announced they're parting ways with the French guard.

Heurtel was a member of Real for one season. However, the French guard did not play in a game for the last two months of the season after a conflict with the team.

In the 2020-2021 season, Heurtel did not finish with another Spanish powerhouse in FC Barcelona, when he left the team after a conflict and joined LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne for the remainder of the season.

In the last EuroLeague season, Heurtel averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 9.7 PIR.
