In return, the Hawks will receive an All-Star guard Dejounte Murray.
Zach Lowe from ESPN adds that both 2025 and 2027 picks are unprotected.
Gallinari joined the Hawks before the 2020-21 season. Last season, he averaged 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 66 regular-season games.
Before joining the Hawks, Gallinari signed a 3-year $61,425,000 contract, and he will earn $21,450,000 before becoming a free agent in the upcoming summer.
Meanwhile, Murray made his debut in the All-Star Game last season, averaging 21.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 9.2 assists, and 2.0 steals (all career-highs) per game.
Murray signed a 4-year $64 million deal with the Spurs in the summer of 2022, so he will become a free agent in two years.
