Greek national team head coach Dimitris Itoudis spoke about the game against Great Britain which will commence tonight at 19:00 CEST in Larissa.

Even though Greece are the favorites in the next game, Itoudis respects the opposing team's chances and mentioned the defeat in England.

"There is no easy game. No fight is easy, be it personal or a sporting event," started Itoudis. "Great Britain showed character in the Newcastle game, fighting back from a 15-point deficit to win the first game," added Itoudis.

Itoudis revealed he has no idea how emotional he will be during the national anthem.

"Personally, I don't think I have any anxiety. I don't know how I'm going to react when the national anthem is played," said Itoudis. "Obviously it's going to be an emotional moment."

The coach has also talked about preparation in the upcoming game in Larissa.

"We are finishing up our preparation, the guys are pretty tired, but we will be pushing the pace in the last training session," said the 51-year-old coach.

"The sold-out [arena] shows that people are hungry for basketball in Larissa," commented Itoudis. "The crowd gives the impulse to the athletes to give something more, something that we need tomorrow," the coach explained.

When asked about Kostas Sloukas and Thanasis Antetokounmpo's situation on watching the national team tonight in attendance, Itoudis was not able to confirm that they will come.

"They want to be here. That's what they had said. I can't confirm that they will definitely come, because I haven't spoken with them today, but I think they will be here," Itoudis explained.
