The 22-year-old big man joined the Turkish powerhouse last summer, signing a one-year deal.

He averaged 3.2 points, 1.0 rebound, and 3.2 PIR over 36 EuroLeague games (5.5 minutes) last season.

Coach Ergin Ataman regretted signing Petrusev while talking to Umit Avci of Milliyet newspaper in May: "The fact that he came to such a high-level team for the first time and that he could not reach that level physically was a bit of a mistake for us."

The Serbian arrived at Anadolu Efes after a breakout season in Mega. Last campaign, he dominated the Adriatic Basketball League, racking the regular-season MVP honors with the averages of 23.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 21 contests.

Filip Petrusev was selected with the 50th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2021 NBA Draft.
