The San Antonio franchise acquired Gallinari in Wednesday's trade with the Atlanta Hawks centered on Dejounte Murray.

If the Bulls-Gallinari deal were to happen, it would likely be in the area of $7-8 million annually for two years, according to the report. The current Bulls head coach Billy Donovan coached Gallinari in Oklahoma City.

Last season, the 33-year-old averaged 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists over 66 regular-season games for the Hawks.

Gallinari is averaging 15.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 728 contests (563 starts) in 13 seasons with the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Hawks.
