LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne officially announced the addition of the EuroLeague star Nando De Colo on a two-year deal.

"Thank you, Nando De Colo, for believing in our project. We are entering a new era. In 2013, together we won the 1st EuroBasket title in the history of the French national team. In 2023, I hope we can win the first EuroLeague title in ASVEL's history," the club president Tony Parker tweeted after the signing.

The 35-year-old Frenchman has been a member of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul since 2019. During his tenure in the Turkish capital, he won the Turkish Cup in 2020 and became the champion of the Turkish league this past season.

The Frenchman averaged 11.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 14.1 PIR over 21 EuroLeague games last campaign.

He has played in Europe since 2014, winning two EuroLeague championships (2016, 2019) and one EuroLeague MVP award (2016) with CSKA Moscow.

Prior to the huge success in Europe, De Colo spent two years in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs (2012-13 and 2013-14) and the Toronto Raptors (2013-14). He was selected with the 53rd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
