In the 2021-22 season, the Spanish forward got into a trades carousel. First, he got traded from the Boston Celtics to the San Antonio Spurs and then moved to the Jazz.

Between the three teams, he played in a total of 40 games last season, averaging 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds over 11.1 minutes.

In a six-year NBA career that included stints with the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the three mentioned clubs he has registered 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 297 matches (66 starts).
