"It's certainly a possibility," Wojnarowski said on Durant and Irving being included in the same trade. "Two things have to happen: the team wants to have both of them and there's have to be a deal that makes sense. It's an immense amount of salary going out."
"I think they (Nets) will evaluate all of it, they have to. Certainly, it's a scenario that will appeal to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They wanted to play together, they want to continue to play together, but the sense is that they don't want to do it in Brooklyn anymore," Wojnarowski added.
According to Chris Haynes from Yahoo Sports, Durant's preferred destination is the Phoenix Suns. The Miami Heat are also among preferred destinations, but according to Wojnarowski, the Nets plan to move Durant where they can get the best possible deal.
Wojnarowski adds that the entire Nets roster will be available to discuss in deals, and Brooklyn will look for a historical return on players and draft picks.
Durant still has a 4-year $192.4 million contract, which runs after the 2025-26 season.
Last season, Durant averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 55 regular-season games.
Irving has exercised his $36.5 million player option for the 2022-23 season, despite numerous rumours about a possibility of opting out and leaving the Nets as a free agent.
The seven-time NBA All-Star this season has averaged 27.4 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game.
