Free agent center Jusuf Nurkic has agreed on a new four-year, $70 million deal to stay with the Portland Trail Blazers, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

However, he was not playing since Feb. 16. and missed the last part of the 2021-22 campaign due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
The 7-footer (2.11 m) has averaged 12.2 points and 8.5 rebounds in 411 career games (330 starts) with the Denver Nuggets and Trail Blazers.
Nurkic was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 16th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft on June 26. He was traded that night along with Gary Harris and a 2015 second-round pick to the Nuggets for Doug McDermott and Anthony Randolph.
