The Indiana Pacers are trading guard Malcolm Brogdon to the Boston Celtics, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The 29-year-old Brogdon is coming off his sixth NBA season after being drafted in the second round out of Virginia by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016. Earning Rookie of the Year honors in the 2016-17 season, he averaged 12.8 points a game in three seasons with the Bucks before he was traded to the Pacers.
Since then, Brogdon has started all 146 games he has played with Indiana, and last season averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists in 36 matches.
Theis, 30, landed in Boston before the NBA trade deadline. He returned to the Celtics, having played there from 2017 to 2021. The German big man registered 8.2 points and 4.9 rebounds over 47 duels last campaign.
