Panathinaikos Athens announced the acquisition of Panagiotis Kalaitzakis for the next three years on a 2+1 contract.

Last season the Greek played for Lietkabelis Panevezys and competed in the EuroCup, where he averaged 13.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 steals in 28 minutes.

Lietkabelis has reached the finals of the Lithuanian League, where he averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.

After signing with Panathinaikos, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis talked to the team media.
